Dear Colleagues,

Phil Gibbs, of Collera Pianos in Dallas, is having Ray Chandler from Bosendorfer give a presentation on the Bosendorfer line of pianos. Please see the enclosed information found below.

Additionally, I just got confirmation from Nick Gravange.  Nick will be giving a presentation to our chapter in October.  Nick has been a piano technician and piano engineer dang near all his life.  I'll have more on Nick's presentation as we work out the details.  This IS going to be a good one colleagues.  Please plan on attending.

Don't forger our Chapter Meeting this Monday, February 11, 2013, in UT's Butler School of Music, room M3.114.  The meeting starts at 7:30 PM and runs until it's over, but no later than 9:30 PM.  Steve Walthall is back from the home office, and can let us know what regional business took place last week in Kansas City.   Chris Prewitt will head a forum designed for the "less experienced" technician.  Hopefully, we'll cover some spills and chills you should try to avoid servicing pianos in client's homes, churches, schools, etc…  I hope to see you Monday, 02/11/13.  I invite all members to this forum.  More seasoned Technicians can share what they've learned the hard way, so lesser experienced can avoid these mistakes all together.

See you Monday!

Respectfully,

Linn Roath
